Today feels a lot better than yesterday. Getting a lot more energy back. I watched my competition division’s top ten ring tonight and i have my work cut out for me Saturday. Feeling a bit of anxiety on that one so I guess we will see how that progresses as it goes.
Well I made it through the workout and was finally able to break the 72 hour fast. We trained our form most of the time and got to do some old forms from the early days. I was able to pass the written test as well and got some feedback on my form. Starting to feel a bit of energy come back.
Day 5 of my fast. Today was quite the challenge for me as I have passed 51 hours since eating. Having a bottle of water handy is a good help and staying busy is a key. I still am anxious about the 8 hour workout tomorrow, but hopefully I can hold it together for the next 24 hours.
Today is day 4 of my fast process. Today is first day of water only. I crossed over 24 hours since eating and it is getting rougher each hour. The workout this afternoon definitely helped me not feel hungry, although it was a challenge to fight against muscle failure. I have no idea how I’m going to make it through Wed. The worst part is no caffeine, so the headaches are starting in. Hopefully that will wear off tomorrow. Had to take a couple naps today to try to get a bit more recovery.
Today is day 3 of my fast process. I’m definitely feeling the lack of energy today. I was supposed to have 2 one hour workouts today, but I used up all the gas in the AM workout so I modified today’s plan a bit. The multiple workouts per day are definitely stacking up challenging my recovery methods. Ibuprofen and Voltaren gel are helping this old guy out a ton.
I am not looking forward to the next three days of water only. Ugh.
